The Kforce Story Comprised of a number of renowned businesses, our Firm’s roots date back to 1962. Around the same time Kforce was established, America’s workforce began to change and the staffing industry emerged – providing a service to companies that needed temporary workers. Kforce History 1962 – Source Services Corporation founded as a specialty staffing services firm 1966 – Romac & Associates established as franchise organization 1985 – Romac & Associates enters the temporary staffing market 1995 – Romac & Associates Initial Public Offering: traded on NASDAQ 1998 – Romac & Associates acquires Source Services Corporation 2001 – Name changes to Kforce Inc. 2007 – Reaches $1 billion in unaudited annual revenues for the first time in the Firm’s history 2012 – Kforce celebrates 50 years
