Limmat Capital Alternative Investments AG is an independent FINMA regulated investment management firm in Zurich, Switzerland. We specialize in liquid long/short equity, quantitative, and balanced fund strategies. Since 2005, we have been building a state-of-the-art alternative investments platform which allows us to manage unique, institutional-quality investment programs for various investor groups.
Limmat Capital was founded in 2005 by Raphael Rutz and Ramon Huber (former proprietary traders at Swiss banks). Ramon and Raphael have worked in the industry since 1986 and 1991, respectively, and have worked together as a team since 1996. Since 2005, Limmat Capital has evolved from a proprietary trading boutique into a multi-disciplinary investment management firm. Our vision is to inspire an inventive culture and achieve the full potential and prosperity for our clients, employees, and partners. We want to continue to build upon our history and grow a world-class organization servicing the whole spectrum of investors. Limmat Capital employs 12 people, seven of which are investment professionals. Professional backgrounds of the team include floor and proprietary trading, macro, fundamental and quantitative research.
