McHale, Caruso, Scullion & Knox have been serving the Southwest Florida community since 1978. Our Firm consists of five partners and employs twenty (20) professionals and paraprofessionals. Our focus is on knowledge and quality and delivering a timely product. Our Firm practices in the areas of accounting, tax, limited auditing, financial management, litigation support and asset management including trusteeships and receiverships. Our Objectives and How We Achieve Them: Our Objective is to be among the highest quality CPA firms in the State of Florida and by doing so, provide maximum client service. To achieve this objective, we provide quality and timely service. We maintain a staff of highly trained professionals. We achieve this by providing our staff with a multitude of continuing professional education opportunities, including areas of specialization. We attempt, without sacrificing quality, to meet all deadlines. Services Overview Accounting: We provide complete accounting services for many businesses and medical practices and in a number of instances act as "in-house controllers" and financial managers for medical practices, preparing financial statements and supporting schedules for various managerial purposes. Auditing: McHale, Caruso, Scullion & Knox provide limited audit services to small and medium size private businesses, including non-profit audits. Compilation and Review: We perform compilation and review services as governed by the Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS). Litigation Support: We offer technical support services, including non certified valuations of businesses, expert witness testimony, accounting standards and fact finding work. Tax Services: McHale, Caruso, Scullion & Knox provide federal and local tax services. In addition to compliance work in the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns, we also do tax planning for corporations, individuals and estates, including areas such as liquidations, compensation, trust accounting, tax shelters, acquisitions and divestitures.
