Distance, however, is not an obstacle and we are proud to have clients across South Africa, and as far afield as the UK and USA. How we work: There is no formula - each client is treated as an individual. There is no upfront charge, and we will spend as much time as necessary in getting to understand how MetaCapital might help and add value, before going about formalising our appointment and setting out the scope of work and terms of remuneration. We do not insist nor even try to persuade our clients to entrust all their financial service needs to us: we understand that people have different needs and preferences. Our only non-negotiable requirement from all our clients is full and honest disclosure about their financial affairs: simply because it's impossible to give the best advice without understanding the overall context. Jon Webber’s SARS tax registration number is PR 0084894 and his SARS affiliate organisation is the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), membership number 03343321. The company’s own tax affairs are up to date. Investment work All investment work is done via MetaCapital (Pty) Ltd, company registration number 2000/009559/07. The company Financial Services Provider number is 13531 and Jon Webber is the Key Individual for FSB purposes. The licence gives the company permission to work with investments and retirement products, but not in medical aid or any form of insurance. The company’s tax and compliance is up to date. The Compliance Officer is Ms Lisa Vosloo of Moonstone Compliance. The company holds professional indemnity insurance, but no fidelity insurance cover as the company does not collect funds from investors, preferring all funds to go directly to the service providers.
