Priscilla Monteith founded Monteith & Monteith, Certified General Accountants in 1981 with her husband and partner Bill. Originally located in Flamborough, Monteith & Monteith focused on serving the accounting and taxation needs of entrepreneurs, professionals, and their families until 2010. The experience of providing tax planning and advice to clients led Priscilla to realize the disconnect that existed between a client’s financial goals and the investments they had acquired to meet those goals. A desire to meet this need led Priscilla to obtain her Certified Financial Planners designation and, in 1996 she partnered with Manulife Securities Investment Services Inc. to facilitate the provision of financial planning supported by investment solutions tailored to her client’s needs. The evolution of this vision led to the creation of Monteith Financial Group in 2006 and the welcome addition of Stephanie Piroli to the team. Stephanie is a Certified General Accountant as well as a Certified Financial Planner. Both Stephanie & Priscilla are licensed insurance agents and in 2009 transitioned with Manulife Securities Incorporated to offer an expanded product shelf that today includes the full range of investment solutions including stocks, bonds and ETF’s. The Monteith Financial Group team shares a passion for assisting clients to look ahead, beyond where they can see and implement their own “Plan to Succeed”
