The firm can trace its origin back to the 1940's when it was known as Callaghan & Morse and subsequent partners coming and going have seen it change to: Morse Wells & Co Blackmore Wells & Fort Blackmore & Fort In the 1960's the practice was taken over by Jim Beveridge who was joined in 1971 by Phil Trappitt and the firm was known as Beveridge, Alderson and Trappitt when they took over the practice of Barney Alderson. In 1991 Jim retired and Tim Morris joined Phil and the firm became Trappitt & Morris. Sadly Tim passed away in May 2005 and having been replaced by Joanna Ewenson, the firm became Trappitt & Ewenson Ltd. In July 2010, we decided as the premises was being upgraded, we would also rebrand ourselves with something more in tune with our clients – My Accountants. It is easier to spell and most of all, it is what we are called..
