Nexus was begun in 2015 by Richard Lazarow after working as an investment banker for 6 years during which time his efforts resulted in raising over $100 million in capital for his clients. Prior to this, Rich spent 15+ years as an equity portfolio manager and stock analyst in Manhattan. The skills which were honed while relentlessly digging for and analyzing fundamental information have enabled Rich to determine the best course of action and have facilitated the formation of trusted relationships with key individuals within these firms. Further, Rich’s deep fundamental research experience across most sectors has helped him become very insightful and creative when it comes to understanding a company’s financial position and business model, and then in determining what the enterprise’s options are and how management can best enhance shareholder value. Rich has multiple degrees in finance, having graduated from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BSE, and he received an MBA with honors from NYU Stern School of Business.
