Papaleo and Company began 60 years ago as a small, local tax preparation service. This was at a time when the current high-volume tax preparation offices were not in existence. The company's founding father set out to provide an affordable, professional establishment that offered tax preparation services to those individuals that could not think of walking into a CPA firm for fear of the exorbitant fee schedules. In 1975, Papaleo and Company became the first automated tax preparation service in Westchester County when the use of the computer in accounting firms was in its earliest stages. To this day, we continue to utilize the most up-to-date computer technology and software, with the most knowledgeable data-entry specialists we can find. The firm has since developed to a full-service accounting firm, specializing in individuals and all small businesses where we can deal with our clients on a one-to-one, first-name basis. As Enrolled Agents, we work with the Internal Revenue Service and local state jurisdictions on a daily basis. Papaleo and Company also offers consulting in all areas of personal and business finance.
