Phyllis A. Mondelli, CPA, P.C.
The Mondelli Philosophy I learned from my father to help my clients in any way I can. My goal is to save them as much stress and money as possible, and to guide them through the often overwhelming task of dealing with their taxes. In my experience, people are often intimated by the tax process, so I try to make it as simple as possible for them by removing the guesswork. If any of my clients receive any tax-related notice, I tell them just to send it to me and I will handle it for them.

The Mondelli Building
The house at 44 Elm Street, which includes Pam Mondelli’s business, is an extraordinary one, with its own special history.
The two-and-a-half-story dwelling built in the Queen Anne Style in 1892 features Tuscan columns on a brick railing and chequered openings on the front porch that wrap around a round corner tower on the front of the building. Gabled projections, distinct decorations and a hexagonal bay window round out the other sides of this elegant structure. Elm Street is one of the first major crossing streets constructed in Morristown when the town was founded in the 1700's. During the 19th and early 20th centuries, commercial buildings were built or existing dwellings were converted to offices, apartments or shops. Today, in addition to Pam’s business, the Mondelli building houses seven other businesses. They share this historical property, which provides warmth and a unique professional environment for their clients.
Pam’s local roots run deep.
Her grandmother, Catherine Verrilli Giordano, was owner of Verrilli’s bakery and her grandfather, Frank Giordano, was owner of Giordano Brothers’ Grocery – both institutions to generations of Morristown residents. Pam’s father, Michael V. Mondelli, began his CPA career as an IRS agent in the early 1950’s. He started his own practice in a single room on Morris Street in Morristown and expanded to the present location on Elm Street. Pam began her career partnering with her father from 1990 until his death in 2001. From him, she learned the importance of building strong relationships with her clients.
