About the Portland Financial Advisors Network The Portland Financial Advisors Network (PDXFAN) is a consortium of financial planning experts who have qualifications, experience and credentials that exceed those of most financial advisors. Even though each of us is an independent business owner, we know, respect and enjoy exchanging ideas with each other. We also understand that every client—and every financial advisor—is different. Through this consortium, we seek to help you find the expert who best meets YOUR needs. Our commitment to you As members of PDXFAN, we are united by the commitment to provide our clients with the highest quality advice and service possible. This means we: Are all registered with the state of Oregon as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Are fee-only financial advisors Adhere to strict business standards Have a fiduciary duty to act at all times in the best interests of our clients Have extensive experience in investment, tax, and retirement planning Maintain our primary office either in the Portland Metro area or in Vancouver, Washington Membership in PDXFAN is by invitation only, and inclusion is decided by a majority of the existing members. In addition, only one member per firm (RIA) is represented in the consortium.
