The Indonesian company started operations in 1991 under the name of PT Ultramas Broker Asuransi and operated together with the Zuellig Insurance Group in Asia before joining the Zuellig's regional network in 1993 forming an Asian wide partnership with offices in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines and Indonesia. In 1994 the group re-branded into Accette Insurance Brokers in which form we have successfully operated until early 2012 when seizing the opportunity to merge with Howden Broking Group, a leading London based insurance broking and risk underwriting company with offices worldwide. In July 2012, the ministry of finance approved the change of name and on 14th August 2012, PT. Howden Insurance Brokers Indonesia formally operated as the rebranded company.
