Richardson Accounting & Tax Services, P.C. is a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Pueblo, Colorado that provides complete accounting and tax services to businesses and individuals.
Our firm was originally founded by me; Mike Richardson in October 1980. I started the firm as a small sole proprietorship providing accounting, auditing and income tax services to individuals and small businesses in Pueblo, Colorado. In August 1989, Steve Spiess and I formed the professional corporation of Richardson, Spiess & Associates, P.C. With the acquisitions of other accounting practices and Steve’s expertise in estate tax planning, Richardson, Spiess & Associates, P.C. continued to grow. When tax clients moved to other states they continued to use our services and refer their new associates to us. We now serve clients throughout the United States. In January 2003 after graduating from the University of Southern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, Jason Richardson joined the firm. Jason brings great knowledge of income tax and accounting, along with tremendous people skills to the firm. I would be remiss if I didn’t introduce our great administrative assistant, Toni Hoyt. She has been with the firm since January 2002. She greets every client with a smile and knows them as if they were family. She has been a great asset to the firm. Steve Spiess retired in July 2005 and is enjoying spending time at his cabin in the Colorado Rockies. In the fall of 2009 the firm changed its name from Richardson, Spiess & Associates P.C. to Richardson Accounting & Tax Services, P.C. Richardson Accounting & Tax Services, P.C. is committed to high professional standards, quality peer reviews, service to various charitable organizations and active in the community. Over the years the firm has maintained steady growth, mainly by referrals from bankers, attorneys, friends, family and our existing satisfied clients. We will continue to provide the most professional accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, income tax and consulting services to our clients and associates.
