She has been working in the financial services industry in various capacities since 1996. Dawn's experience in the financial services profession spans over two decades as a financial advisor, a coach for advisors, and manager of a support team for advisors. The early part of Dawn's career was spent in Dallas, Texas, where she worked with 1st Global, the nation's largest independently owned wealth management partner for accounting and legal firms. During her tenure there from 2004 to 2012, Dawn worked in various capacities ranging from review and recommendation of investment portfolios to overseeing a 30-member support team for financial advisors. In Dallas, Dawn also met her husband, Scott, and today they have two children and now reside in Gainesville, Ga. Dawn has the professional designations CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, 2006, and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) for special knowledge in risk management. She has passed the Financial Industry Regulation Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 24, 63 & 65 exams. Dawn is also insurance-licensed in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
