Saracen Energy Advisors
Saracen is a Houston based investment manager engaged in multi-commodity trading in the physical and financial energy markets in North America.

The Saracen name dates back to warriors of the Middle Ages but is also connected to an important chapter in Texas history. In 1836, Sam Houston, the Commanding General of the Texas Army, was patiently engaging the Mexican General Santa Anna and drawing out his supply lines following the fall of the Alamo. That deliberate patience was rewarded when Sam Houston, despite being outnumbered 2 to 1, rode his great white stallion named Saracen into battle against Santa Anna on the fields at San Jacinto. During this decisive battle, Saracen was shot beneath him, but Sam Houston and his men prevailed thus liberating Texas and establishing it as an independent Republic. At Saracen Energy, we celebrate that gallant spirit every day. Like Sam Houston, we only take risk for good reasons, and patience is core to our strategy.
