It requires knowledge of the financial planning industry and more importantly it requires knowledge of the legal boundaries of what is required in a statement of advice, and how the advice is worded.

We are a dynamic team with a wealth of experience in the Financial Planning industry. Our team comprises financial advisers with many years of financial planning experience and strategy advice from your ever-day mums and dads to more complex business advice. We have solicitors who understand the rigorous ASIC compliance requirements and know how to write an SOA to ensure the requirements are met to a high standard. Our philosophy Our philosophy is “less is more”. There is no need to complicate things. Providing your client with an SOA that is more than 20 pages long is not doing your business any good. Your client wants to know what your advice to them is in simple easy to understand terminology without the need for extraneous material that they will just skip over. Your client is more likely going to read and understand a simple, concise, statement of advice less than 10 pages long than a 30 plus page statement of advice. A clear, concise and effective SOA is a requirement under regulatory guide 175. Most SOA’s don’t comply with this requirement resulting in a breach of the regulations.
