We make Venture Capital/Angel Funding available to expand or to acquire businesses. Funding is available in amounts of $100,000 to $750,000 or more. Funding is in the form of flexible loans which do not require any particular amount of collateral coverage. We don’t compete with banks; we take more risk. We are NOT a merchant cash advance company- repayment with us is often over years not a few months. As a former bank president and restaurant owner, I know Venture Capital/Angel Funding for entrepreneurs can be hard to find. I was brought up in the hotel and restaurant business but I joined a bank after college, and spent most of my career in banking. In 2000, I retired after 20 successful years as President of Royal Bank of Pennsylvania (now Royal Bank America). I have written articles on independent businesses and on the business of banking, and have testified on behalf of my clients in court many times as a banking expert. Generally, we offer a basic interest rate between 10 and 15 %. We often agree on a “success” interest, which is usually a formula where we may earn a bit more interest if the business is doing well. We are generalists, and will consider most types of businesses. Business location should be within several hours drive of Philadelphia. Principals will need reasonably good credit and should expect to guarantee.
