Founded in 1999, The Piedmont Group’s sole purpose is to provide insurance programs with tailored coverages, for less premium than our competitors, while providing best in class customer service to business owners, farm owners, and the residents in the states of which it serves. While these areas are a central focus for The Piedmont Group, certain agents and staff members have licenses throughout other parts of the country as well. We specialize in, but are not limited to, traditional agriculture, equine, wholesale growers, contractors, arborists and wineries/vineyards. We pride ourselves in our ability to customize each clients’ insurance program to meet the unique needs of their business or family. We serve companies and individuals in Maryland, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania. The Piedmont Group has grown from two insurance agents working primarily in the field to a multi-line insurance provider with multiple agents and specialists to assist a wide range of clients. Our insurance agents and staff are fully licensed in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
