Thompson Allen began in 2006, when Mark Allen and Justin Thompson joined Alan Thompson as partners in the firm previously known as Thompson Sherwood. Shortly afterwards, Suzy Abbot joined the firm as a specialist property litigation solicitor. In December 2008, Tony Foot joined the firm from another prominent Brighton commercial law firm as a full time in-house consultant. In July 2009 Alan Thompson retired to a consultancy role. Thompson Allen continues to build on its reputation as a solid commercial and property practice.
