Michelle Edwards, CPA started Trailhead Accounting Solutions CPA in Boulder, Colorado with a vision to help business owners with their day-to-day accounting operations.
In 2010, Michelle Edwards, CPA started Trailhead Accounting Solutions CPA. It started with a passion of wanting to help business owners find clarity out of the complexity of running a small business. The first 11 years of my career were as a controller & CFO. During this time I would get frustrated with out tax CPA’s inability to provide guidance and support regarding the day-to-day complexities of running a small business. They excelled with providing tax planning & tax saving strategies. However, they were at a loss when it came to helping us mange our cash flow, troubleshoot our QuickBooks questions, and leadership in creating forecasts and metrics to measure our growth goals. I remember thinking, I’m an accountant and am frustrated. I can’t imagine how business owners with little to no accounting experience feel! So, Trailhead Accounting Solutions CPA was created to help business owners manage and understand the day-to-day financial complexities of running a business.
