With the creation of the 401(k) and other tax-deferred saving and investment plans, clients were looking for a firm that could help them see the big picture. Someone who could help turn tax savings into investment returns. And so in 1991, Tim Terry established World Trend Financial, a firm to meet the need for timely and accurate investment information. A network of advisors was established to offer timely access to complete financial information. In 2008, World Trend Financial and Terry Lockridge & Dunn further expanded by opening its doors to a joint Iowa City office building. This newly constructed 17,000 square foot building uses LEED (Leader Energy Efficiency Design) elements and wide spans of glass to bring in natural lighting. Today, with offices in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, World Trend Financial is both a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisory firm.
