IFS Capital Limited (“IFS”), as a regional Group provides commercial finance services like factoring, hire-purchase/leasing, loans, government-assisted schemes and trade/export finance, to small and medium sized enterprises (“SMEs”). The Group also provides bonds and guarantees, credit insurance and general insurance through its wholly-owned subsidiary, ECICS Limited.
IFS Group is an established financial services group of Singapore and with businesses such as commercial finance, credit insurance, bonds and guarantees, structured/alternative finance and venture capital. IFS Capital Limited (“IFS”) is the holding company of the Group. Incorporated in Singapore in 1987, IFS was listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange in July 1993. IFS Group also has operations in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. As at 31 December 2008, it has a total shareholders’ funds of S$ 120.97 million and total assets of S$ 393.44 million.
