That means lower interest rates and lower product fees for you as we make sure lenders compete to win your business. Your exclusive business team NFBFC is more than that though. We’re your finance partner and we’re your non-executive director. Getting the money is the easy part, spending it right is the difficult bit. NFBFC is run and owned by a hugely experienced team of businesspeople. We’ve run businesses in the past, we’ve borrowed money to grow our companies, we’ve managed decline, we’ve managed consolidation and we’ve sold our businesses for profit after getting them in the right shape. Talking to your business bank manager or a business advice service is great. But nothing quite beats knowing that you’re dealing with someone who’s walked in your shoes and done what you want to do. A real personal service The internet has created huge new opportunities for businesses wanting to borrow money. But how does a busy business owner begin to make sense of the array of options? Our business team are out on the road every day. We believe in putting a face to a name. We know how important it is for your advisors to understand you and your business. We get to know every customer, whether they’re planning for growth or need a short-term cash injection to cover a bill or a demand. We’ll come out and visit you at your premises. We’ll make a real effort to get to know and understand you and your ambitions. This is the start of a long-term relationship between our company and yours. A real choice with no upfront fees We don’t charge for advice and we don’t charge when we come and visit you. We’re only paid on performance. Our job is to offer you a choice of lenders. Where we can, we’ll advice you on which one we’d go for and why. In the vast majority of cases, we’re paid by the lender for arranging finance (it’s normally a share of the product or arrangement fee for the product – just like the product fee on your residential mortgage). Where we have to make a charge, we’ll advice you in good time meaning you can back out and look elsewhere, if you want to. You’re in charge and we’re here to look after your business.
