Catalyst Funds are Israeli-based private equity funds investing in late stage Israeli and Israeli related companies. Our investment team members share the daily commitment of helping our portfolio companies turn innovation into standards, brick by brick. With over $200M under management, the funds assist Portfolio Companies to reach their targets by leveraging on Catalyst’s vast European and Israeli network. Catalyst Funds are top performers among all Israeli VC funds. We target companies who are in a distressed situation or in pre-IPO and expansion stages. Most portfolio companies from Catalyst I and II Funds exited either through IPOs or M&A processes. Many of the remaining portfolio companies are listed on the NASDAQ. The Funds invest in technology companies and have a diversified portfolio, including companies from the Telecommunication, Information Technologies, Enterprise Software, Medical Devices and Bio/Pharma sectors. Investment Strategy Catalyst Fund II invests in a broad range of maturing, hi-growth Israeli and Israeli-related companies. While we usually act as the sole investor in the last round, Catalyst typically invests in companies we believe will become cash positive by our investment or companies that are already profitable. Investment targets can also be companies who are in a distressed situation with technologies and products that answer market needs and a strong management. By using our vast European network, created over years of financial activities, Israeli and European companies see value in Catalyst as we, through our founder, Cukierman & Co., assist them in promoting their M&A objectives, take them public on European markets, provide help with local banks and support them every step of the way to reach their next level.
