2007 February – Tsesnabank’s debut US$125 million Reg S 3-year 9.875% Eurobond issue lead managed by Citigroup and Dresdner Kleinwort May – Tsesnabank was awarded by Euromoney business magazine as one of “The Best Managed Banks in Central & Eastern Europe and Central Asia” in the “Best Managed Companies 2007” nomination. July – Tsesnabank raised a USD54 million syndicated term loan facility October – Moody’s Investors Service affirmed its credit ratings on Tsesnabank: Bank Deposits – “B1 /NP”, Bank Financial Strength – “E+”, Stable outlook November – Standard & Poor’s Rating Agency published its full rating report where it affirmed credit ratings on Tsesnabank: Counterparty credit ratings and Certificate of deposit on the level of “B-/C”, Stable Outlook November – Tsenabank’s representative office in Moscow (Russian Federation) was officially registered. December – Fitch Ratings affirmed Tsesnabank's ratings at Long-term Issuer Default rating (IDR) 'B-', Short-term IDR 'B', Support '5', Support Rating Floor ‘No Floor’ and Individual 'D/E'. The Outlook for the Long-term IDR is Stable. 2006 January – The bond program for the amount of KZT 15 billion (US$115 million) was registered. The 1st issue within this program for the amount of KZT 5 billion (US$38 million) with 3-year maturity was made. The bond placement was successfully completed. In June 2006 Tsesnabank signed the Memorandum on Cooperation and Interaction for Enhancement of Transparency of Banking Activity with the Agency on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations (the “FMSA”). May – Tsesnabank issued 5-year bonds in an amount of KZT 3 billion (US$24.2 million) under the bond program. May – Tsesnabank signed a US$22 million trade related syndicated loan with Landesbank Berlin AG and Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG as Mandated Lead Arrangers. June – Tsesnabank issued 8-year subordinated bonds in an amount of KZT 3 billion (US$25.1 million) under the bond program. September – Fitch Ratings assigned Tsesnabank ratings of Issuer Default 'B-' with Stable Outlook, Short-term 'B', Support '5', Individual 'D/E'. December – Tsesnabank signed a US$50 million trade related syndicated loan with Landesbank Berlin AG and Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG as Bookrunners. 2005 Standard & Poor’s assigned to Tsesnabank LT Counterparty Credit Rating of ‘B-’, ST Counterparty Credit Rating of ‘C’ and Certificate of Deposit Rating of ‘В-С’ (Stable Outlook). Tsesnabank issued 7-year bonds in an amount of KZT 3 billion (US$22.4 million). The bond placement was successfully completed. 2004 Tsesnabank made the first 3-year bond issue in the local market in an amount of KZT 1.5 billion (US$11.5 million). The bond placement was successfully completed. Tsensbank became a member of Kazakhstan Mortgage Lending Guarantee Fund. Tsesnabank joined VISA International payment system as associate member. Tsesnabank became a member of First Credit Bureau. Moody's Investors’ Service assigned to Tsesnabank the following ratings: LT Foreign Currency Bank Deposits rating – ‘B1’, ST Bank Deposits rating – ‘Not Prime’, Financial Strength – ‘E+’ (Stable Outlook). 2003 Tsesnabank’s shares were listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) under top category A. Tsesnabank was acknowledged as the best performance bank among financial institutions that participated in implementation of World Bank’s credit line, decision is based on monitoring results conducted by Ministry of Agriculture. Tsesnabank was rewarded by EBRD as the bank with the best quality of the loan. 2001 Tsesnabank was acknowledged by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a bank which fulfilled the requirements of “Regulations for Second-Tier Banks in Transition to International Standards”. 2000 Tsesnabank became a member of Kazakhstani Individuals’ Deposits Insurance Fund. 1999-2001 Tsesnabank participated in the “Twinning” Institutional Development Program with Rabobank, the Netherlands. 1998 The credit line of the Asian Development Bank for agricultural sector was opened. The credit line of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for SME business development was opened. The loan agreement with the World Bank on the Agricultural Post-Privatization Assistance Project was signed. 1997 The first international audit of Tsesnabank’s financials performed by Arthur Andersen. Tsesnabank obtained Primary Dealer status in the government securities market. 1996 Tsesnabank signed an agreement with the Central Asian and American Entrepreneurship Support Fund for financing small and medium sized enterprises. 1994 Tsesnabank obtained a membership certificate of Kazakhstan Interbank Currency Exchange. Tsesnabank obtained the 1st category license for broker/dealer operations in the government securities market. 1992 17 January - Tsesnabank was registered by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
