Our firm participates in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants peer review program covering our audit and accounting practices. Under this program. our system of quality control is subjected to a peer review team of CPAs approved by the state administering entity. The team reviews a sample of our work. We received an unqualified report on our quality review issued in November 2013. The Partners are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. All professional staff participate in over 40 hours of continuing education each year utilizing CPE courses sponsored by the AICPA, NYSSCPAs, other professional organizations and training sessions developed by our Firm. Several Partners include governmental topics qualifying them to perform Yellow Book type and A-133 audits. Our Partners and staff exceed the minimum hours of CPE required by the licensing regulations and AICPA each year. We subscribe to numerous on-line and print reference materials to provide us with timely updating on new prouncements, new ideas, new proceddures and changes in laws, regulations and interpretations.
