Since 1975, we at Black & Soli, P.C., CPA have offered our clients more than just financial statement preparation and income tax preparation.
Although we serve all generations, we understand that the needs of a retirement community differ from those of a big city or a small town. Located in Green Valley, we strive to serve those special needs and to insure that we are able to provide the services as the need arises..
Through attention to detail and attention to our clients needs, we provide our clients with accounting, income tax, estate & trust accounting, tax preparation and planning, in addition to long range planning, with the clients interest foremost.
We strive to build long term relationships in order to have a thorough understanding of our clients financial position; allowing us to be of assistance to family members in times of need. Should clients be incapacitated, temporarily or permanently, we make sure we are available to assist with tax preparation, etc., and we go where needed in order to provide the services required by the client.
Our specialties in income tax preparation, estate tax preparation and trust planning add to our abilities to better serve the retirement community.
We welcome all clients of all age groups and recognize the special tax planning and service needs of each generation. Our clients are all treated with equal professionalism and respect.
Our current office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00am to 12:00pm - 1:00pm - 4:00pm, closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch.
We prepare all individual, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, estate, trust and gift returns. Our staff of tax preparers are carefully selected based upon their knowledge and experience in working with more complex income tax returns. By our meeting the upper echelon of requirements, you are assured of top professional results, not only for the upper income clients, but for the medium to moderate income client needs.
We treat each and every client with the same amount of professionalism, and each client enjoys the same amount of expertise, regardless of income level. Returns are not assigned to staff members based upon income level; by maintaining all professional preparers with top level abilities, your return will be prepared and checked by top level preparers, as opposed to inexperienced junior level or undertrained staff.
We will always maintain the philosophy that each client deserves respect, professionalism, and courtesy.

Stephen Joseph Soli, Sr., CPA, with over fourty years of experience in providing small and large business accounting services.
Mr. Soli graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. For over three decades Steve has provided accounting and income tax services through his practice in Phoenix and subsequently, since 1988, in Green Valley.
Upon assuming the responsibilities of managing the firm of Black & Soli, P.C., CPA Steve realized that the firm's clientele needed a firm that provided more than just tax preparation. At his direction, the firm employs the highest quality staff with a philosophy of being constantly aware of the client's financial welfare, not only in income tax needs but financial planning, estate planning, and general financial well-being.
Steve has intervened for clients on several occasions where he has felt a need to do so in order to protect the client from certain unscrupulous people who tend to take advantage of older citizens.
Steve's philosophy is to establish a long term relationship early on while the client is in good health; get to know that client both personally and financially in order to be able to provide enhanced services as the need arises, always keeping the client's best interest foremost.
Betty L Soli, CPA, MBA has thirty years of experience in all aspects of accounting, including corporate, partnership and non-profit taxation.
Betty is a native to the Green Valley area and has been with Black & Soli, P.C., CPA since 1984. Having lived and worked in the Green Valley area, Betty has a unique understanding of the client's needs and the community's business environment.
Betty performs the multiple duties of income tax preparation, office management, including support staff and managing the accounting department. Betty insures that the entire support staff strictly adheres to the firm's policies of quality, courtesy, and professionalism, and that your visit to us will be a positive one. Workflow is continuously monitored by Betty to insure timely service and quality product.
